Lefty

My daughter is milking a painful right hand and coaxing her sympathetic parents into doing more for her than she actually needs. She wants to be an artist when she grows up so I told her how in art school we had to draw with our left hands. She didn’t believe me and continued to give me her puppy dog eyes so I’d do her homework for her. This morning before they woke up for school I painted this one entirely with my left hand for her. It ended up having some lessons in it for me too.

acrylic on paper, 9×12″

(It’s making me really hate the previous painting of lightbulbs in a box)
