Days Ends

I don’t usually like painting midday but once school starts that will be the bulk of my painting time. Generally I like morning light and evening light is good too, but I have fewer opportunities for evenings unless my wife and kids are away on vacation. Last night I got to paint a little before dinner because we were just having leftovers but I didn’t quite finish.

And this morning I got up early and tried to see if I could get a painting done and get home before my wife had to leave for work. This will only work during the long days of summer. I was hoping being pressed for time would force me to be more bold and less concerned with trying to paint specifics.
