This took six visits. This is definitely outside my comfort zone. I prefer to get a more abbreviated impression in one shot. Doing this teaches me lessons though. When I revisit a location over multiple days for one painting I really enjoy it more when they’re big canvases and big brushes. This one is pretty small and I switched to little brushes after the second day. I didn’t touch this at all at home. I decided to end it because this spanned about a month and if I waited any longer I’d get sucked into painting spring greens on all the trees. I also have a lot of other locations around here I haven’t painted yet.

And this is an animation of all six days. Hopefully it works for you.
